IT Asset Manager (Contract to Hire) Job description Overview The IT Asset and Telecom Specialist oversees the configuration and maintenance of a highly accurate Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This role also creates the governance framework with respect to control, compliance, and business objectives as pertains to assets. The successful candidate will be comfortable working closely with associates at all levels from technical system administrators to business leadership. Responsibilities   Establishes and enforces IT Asset Management processes, policies and standards in compliance with ITIL V3 framework. Defines standardized procedures for identifying, recording, maintaining, reporting on, and verifying IT asset configurations, associated documentation and relationships to dependent solutions/services. Accountable for telecom billing and administration (voice and data circuits). Oversees the day-to-day management and administration of the IT Asset Management module within client’s ITSM toolset. Collaborates with all team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency of the inputs and outputs of the asset tracking system to other business processes. Maintains precise documentation and accurate usage of the asset tracking system ensuring internal processes, procedures, tools and infrastructure are documented, maintained with accuracy, and adhered to in day to day operations. Adheres to all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to those identified within the Standards of Business Conduct and the Colleague Handbook, as may be amended from time to time. Adheres to all applicable laws and regulations and the company&39;s governance/compliance program. Leading implementation of asset tracking methods and tools. Demonstrates leadership to executives and business units. Responding to vendor audits. Creation and publishing of detailed software inventory reports. Optimize Wireline and Wireless Billing. Work through billing disputes caused by disconnections and other issues, tracking credits due, receipt, and resolving the items through to fruition. Maintains high quality documentation of configurations and inventory. Collaboration with key stakeholders to complete annual software true-up and support renewals on a timely basis for software managed by decentralized and global business units. Setting direction and vision for ITSM Tool & processes. Accountable for Asset Lifecycle and ongoing process Improvement. Direct tracking and governance of compliance to Asset Management Process. Accountable for documenting savings, avoidance and risk management. Supports client’s Compliance Program by adhering to policies and procedures pertaining to HIPAA, FDCPA, FCRA, and other laws applicable to client’s business practices. This includes: becoming familiar with client’s Code of Ethics, attending training as required.   Qualifications   Bachelor&39;s degree in business, finance, or information technology services. 4+ years of relevant work experience in the field of asset management. 1+ year of relevant work experience in the field of telecom. Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and with a team. Understanding of IT hardware/software licensing/maintenance models. Deep proficiency with software license management and related procurement practices. Experience working with various software inventory and asset management tools. Understanding of technologies including but not limited to traditional TDM including analog, PRI, long distance, VOIP, MPLS, SIP, mobile. Strong quantitative and problem-solving skill set. Ability to perform and complete multiple projects under aggressive timelines. Strong attention to detail in deliverables. Ability to Influence multiple stakeholders (decentralized conglomerate culture/structure). Participation in program implementation and management for software asset management. Experience working with IT Suppliers (Microsoft, Salesforce, HP, Oracle, SAP, Etc.). Experience working with multinational global organizations. Data Management skills.   Preferred Skills   ITIL certification. MS license certification. Ability to code and script. Experience with PowerBI.
