JDA WMS Business Consultant

Roles & Responsibilities

Active participation in Solution Design workshops
Explain and demonstrate the background of configuration decisions
Prepare a configuration plan and estimate it’s timeline
Verify configuration of JDA WMS (Discrete)
Validation of Test concept / scenarios
Responsible for providing in depth warehouse functional solutions and knowledge on business Warehouse Management processes for logistics, global and local distribution centers, wholesales, retail and Omni channel operations, including how IT can support those processes.
To be involved in business requirement workshops in gathering the business process requirements and convert those into a functional solution which can be input for technical designs and implementation.
Functional Solution designs and validations taking into account all business, functional, non-functional requirements.
Key contributor to the Change Management efforts for global or regional program implementations.
To prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences and Provide advice to customers regarding industry best practices and Process Methodology.
Interacts with Business, Service Delivery and Service Providers in decision-making processes regarding new solutions.
Conducts/leads business process analysis or design, construction, validation, and deployment phases of the project

Desired Skills & Experience

Bachelor or higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or Logistics.
10+ years in JDA Warehouse Management System solution
Should have strong domain knowledge in JDA WMS solution with expertise in warehouse business processes in various industry verticals.
Extensive experience in defining the To-Be business process flow from AS-IS and business requirements
Understanding of various third party integration methodologies supported by JDA
Excellent understanding of overall Project Life Cycle (analysis, delivery, testing, quality, deployment etc.)
Thorough understanding of development methodologies like Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid
Mandatory Experience: Excellent knowledge of warehouse management processes
Understanding of JDA WMS (Discrete) is highly desirable

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks, and collaborate with various stakeholders and deliver in tight timelines
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment"
