Linux L3 Admin

• Interface with Alkermes IT management team to understand the environment and requirement gathering
• Work with Alkermes remote (Athlone, Wilmington) teams to coordinate requirements and activities.
• Installation/upgrade and configuration of servers – network configuration, OS Install, file system
• configuration.
• Kicksart Environment Management – develop standards and policies, set images, develop/maintainscripts
• Patch implementation and maintenance, including licensing, firmware installation and upgrades
• Service Management – NIS/NIS+/DNS/NFS/Samba/Send Mail
• Security Administration – add/remove, and troubleshooting of security policies
• Tools Administration – agent installation
• Device Management – installation and configuration of devices.
• Syslog and log management
• Documentation – update systems, tools, and service management documents.
• Process related activities, including scripts maintenance and creation for daily administration tasks
• Utilize Alkermes’ SNOW systems for ticketing
• Provide support for high availability and OS cluster environments
• Troubleshoot issues, including performance management
• Interface with and help manage HCL offshore teams to execute Alkermes requirements
• Experience with cloud environments, including AWS.
