Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities:

Identify, extract/scrape, verify suitable data from different sources.
Conduct exploratory data analysis (for example, statistical analysis/segmentation, anomaly detection, assumption testing)
Conduct A/B test and report out A/B test data
Present models or data results to different groups of stakeholders with data visualizations.
Creates proofs of concept. Deploy models to production. Track model behavior and make adjustments to model parameters depending on scale and trending.
Build learning systems to analyze continuous data flows and offline data.
Train and scale algorithms to apply models to new data sets.
Combine data features to determine search models.
Work on eCommerce search-related data science projects.
Work on building relevance evaluation tools.

Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree required (MS preferred).
Industry or research project experience in data science preferably in search or eCommerce.
Strong computer science fundamentals with proven problem-solving skills.
Experience working with large data sets in big data environments
Proficiency in Python/Spark, SQL, Java, Kubeflow, Jupyter, GCP, etc.
Familiar with model assessment and validation
Understanding of dockers/containers, cloud architecture, servers, model formats to store and serve model via batch processing or real-time.
