Network Engineer / Network Architect

What you will be doing:

Work on interesting and challenging network related projects supporting:
- Submarine combat system network architecture and design including support for Cloud based technologies
- Test and evaluation of new network equipment for submarine technology insertions
- Cyber hardening of existing and future submarine combat system networks
Using analytical and problem-solving skills to assist in the requirements, design, development, and test of complex lab and submarine networks
Supporting network upgrades and troubleshooting in lab and afloat submarine environments

Required Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance*
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical degree
3 years of experience in network engineering activities

Desired Qualifications:

Obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance involves a comprehensive background check. Candidates are eligible for a clearance if they have demonstrated sound financial management (including good credit) over time, are free of criminal records, have limited foreign contacts or ties, and other factors indicative of a position of trust to protect information sensitive to the U.S. Government.
