Research Data Analyst

Responsiblties:

Manages, reformats, enters, edits, merges, and maintains data in preparation for analysis.
Analyzes data using statistical or mathematical software to generate descriptive statistics and develop statistical models and graphics.
Assists in the development and implementation of evaluation plans.
Collects, analyzes, and interprets data to evaluate program activities and components.
Conducts thorough evaluations of research training programs.
Communicates statistical results to supervising faculty or staff.
Uses system reports and analyses to identify potentially problematic data, make corrections, and determine root cause for data problems from input errors or inadequate field edits, and suggest possible solutions.
Dissemination of research findings through written reports and/or presentations at meetings and conferences.
Supervises and mentors graduate students when preparing reports, manuscripts, and briefs.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Demography, Statistics, or other related field.
One year experience post-master's degree, collecting, managing, and analyzing data in SPSS, SAS, R, or equivalent.
Strong organization skills; ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines. Must demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy, time management skills, and proven ability to successfully follow through on assigned projects.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work and communicate with various individuals from abroad.
