Senior Data Scientist

Job description:

• We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team and lead the development of machine learning components for our innovative MRV and decarbonization platform.
• This role will be crucial in integrating advanced AI, satellite remote sensing, and comprehensive carbon footprint tracking to provide a holistic solution for agricultural enterprises, government agencies, and farmers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the research, development, and implementation of machine learning systems for the MRV (Measure, Report, and Verify) platform.
• Develop and implement machine learning models for crop classification, yield estimation, soil health analysis, and carbon/GHG emission prediction using satellite data.
• Process and analyze large-scale satellite imagery and IoT data to provide actionable insights.
• Create advanced analytics and predictive models for carbon footprint tracking and reduction recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of machine learning development with user needs and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the machine learning team.
• Integrate machine learning models into production environments and develop data processing pipelines.
