Senior Software Engineer

Job Description:

The goal of the Senior Software Engineer is to design, develop and test new features or enhancements to our web based products that meet the needs of Workhorse’s customers. Additionally, the Senior Software Engineer will act as a lead to the team and provide mentorship and guidance.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5 years experience in programming languages and frameworks including PHP, Laravel and React.
• Experience working in a leadership capacity either as a lead or a manager.
• Ability to prioritize, delegate and manage the team to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Assigns department activities and gives work direction to assure new products and enhancements are delivered on time with no bugs and meet the needs of our customers.
• Resolves problems and meets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
• Assigns tasks and sets schedules in JIRA.
• Engages in team code inspections and supports Workhorse coding standards.
