Senior Tester

• We need a Senior Tester for State of NY in Albany 18+ months contract Rate is $40 to 47  per hour C2C. Max $50 for a real superstar (Client RATE IS 54) Let me know if you have anyone with genuine experience    
• 7 years of experience working with a software development team to create a testing strategy based on industry standards and best practices for a new web application.  
• 7 years of experience working directly with business analysts, program subject matter experts and technical staff, to define all test scenarios
• 7 years of experience creating a release management plan with detailed testing requirements for each phase of testing from QA through production.
• 7 years of experience creating detailed functional test cases based on use cases, software specifications, and design documents.
• 5 years of experience using HP ALM software for tracking of test cases, test case execution, and to create and monitor defects.  
• 5 years of experience using HP ALM software to verify requirements coverage, and creating ALM reports for test coverage, test status, and defects.  
• 5 years of experience in defect management (identifying, recording, tracking, prioritizing, and communicating defects) including use of defect management tools to document, track and communicate problems to technical staff.  
• 5 years of experience creating and executing test cases to validate functional requirements for system-generated reports, verifying the reports are generated and populated with accurate data.
• 5 years of experience creating and executing test cases to validate data imports from external sources, verifying the data in the data import file is valid and uploaded to the database based on functional requirements.
