Software Engineer, Localization Algorithms w/ Zoox Inc (Foster City, CA). Build the algorithms & tools necessary for calibration, localization, & mapping of Zoox's robotic vehicles. Min Req. Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engg or a related field. Requires 3 yrs of exp. In a localization & mapping engineer position in the automotive sector. Exp. Must include: developing mapping & localization vehicle software across diverse driving environments; creating perception algorithms & developing mapping pipelines; using optimization-based algorithms to calibrate & fuse sensor data including GNSS, Lidar, Radar, & camera data; using SLAM techniques & vehicle dynamics modeling; working with safety-critical & high-reliability programming regulations & standards; & working with C++ production software.
