Sql Data Base Administrator

Manage MS SQL Server through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems
Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end
Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems on a rotation basis.
Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
Independent planning and execution of work in dynamic work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

6+ years of Microsoft SQL Server database administration experience required.
4+ years of experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as OEM, Redgate and similar tools
4+ years of experience with database security administration
4+ years of experience with configuration and execution of database backups and restores.
2+ years of experience with installation, configuration and support of SSIS, SSRS, SSAS,
2+ years Always On and SQL clustering
3+ years of experience working in ITIL or similar IT Service delivery based framework.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Oracle database administration experience.
Experience with SQL Azure and cloud-based application and database support.
Experienced in PowerShell scripting
Additional experience in Oracle DB tools such as OEM and RMAN backup client
Experience working in a virtualized server environment.
Experience working as part of a global team spanning multiple time zones.
Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
