System Analyst

Responsiblties:

• Serves as the system administrator and/or functional manager for various Information Technology  materials and supply support systems such as
• the Material Access Technology and Business Objects application of the Shipyard Management Information System Navy Enterprise Resource Planning and other Navy legacy or Defense Logistics Agency  systems.
• Develops new procedures and revise existing procedures for new/existing systems.
• Conducts Supply Department Quality Control/Quality Assurance Audits of operations and evaluate methods for accomplishing tasks.
• Reviews, analyzes, and interprets directives published by higher authorities and research procedures to determine compatibility with new directives.
• Maintains effective working relationships with military and civilian employees, high level management, and supervisory personnel.
