  GlobalLogic is hiring for an Associate Software Engineer (C++/Embedded/Linux) in Dallas, TX. Please go through the job description below and let me know if you’d like to apply for this position.   In case if you are not looking, please share this job with anyone you might know who is available for a new job.    Title: Associate Software Engineer (C++/Embedded/Linux) Location: Dallas, TX   Job Description •    1-2 years of experience in prototyping, software development, code review, and unit testing for embedded devices. •    Excellent theoretical knowledge of Algorithms, OOP patterns, Multithreading •    Excellent theoretical as well as partially hands-on experience with C/C++ (Preferred: C++11 or higher) •    Good Linux ecosystem knowledge  •    Theoretical knowledge of the Linux Debugging methodologies   Job Responsibilities •    Coding, Debugging, bug fixing and so on that is required to release a software package. •    Research and implement a functional requirement using up-to-date technology and skills.   Nice-to-have Experience: •    Embedded application implementation experience •    Knowledge in audio/video/ALSA/encoder technologies •    Experience in Web technologies (HTML, JS, CSS, WebRTC, etc.) •    Knowledge in graphics programming (OpenGL, Skia, Wayland, etc.)   Education:  •    Bachelor's or Master s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
