Java Developer

Essential Job Functions

• Code, test, debug, implement, and document highly complex programs.
• Design systems and programs to meet highly complex programmatic needs and provide technical advice on complex programming.
• Work with clients and management to resolve issues and exceed the expectations of our customers.
• With experience, serve as a technical lead to provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced teammates.
• Opportunities to represent company in presentations or conferences involving customers, co-contractors, suppliers, competitors, academia, or the public.  

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, software engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred
• Great interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
• Great leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel
• Strong SQL skills, with Knowledge of RDBMS databases such as Oracle
• Knowledge of standard web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of MVC frameworks, preferably Struts 1 and Spring
• Oracle PL/SQL and C experience a plus

• Strong analytical, problem solving, creative thinking and design skills at multiple product
• Strong communication skills to communicate with application developers, customers, support personnel and management
• Good mentoring and training skills to guide and direct work of less experienced specialists
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• JEE Servers (like Spring boot, Tomcat, WebSphere, etc.)
• Database Connectivity (JDBC, JPA, Hibernate)
• Experience working with users to define requirements and demonstrate solutions
