Presently I'm on twelve month OPT, My Opt is actually expiring before long, I didn't use for OPT ext.

Allow me to share the ques of mine, 1. Exactly what are the essential documents to submit to USCIS for COS coming from F1 to H4? 2. Can I apply H4 and H4 EAD together or first apply H4 and then H4-EAD. 3. Just how long will it take to have my COS approved.

#1 Carryall passports including old and expired.
#2 H1B primary spouse documents.
#3 Marriage Certificate (Original).
#4 Wedding Invitation Card. Optional, but recommended.
#5 Wedding Color Photo Album.
#6 Birth Certificate. Yes, you can. However, H-1B and H4 extension would have to be approved first before H4 EAD can be processed and approved. Change of status processing time depends from state to state but California is quickest in processing the applications.

What is the reason for not opting for an extension?

Have you got a sponsoring H1B or H4 employer?

If you are single male or female then get an H1B and if you are married then you need file for H4 along with H1B application.

You need to act fast otherwise you would not be in a position to get an H1B visa or OPT extension.
