QA Automation Engineer

 Responsibilities:

• Break down business requirements and user stories into well-defined and comprehensive functional test plans, test cases, and automation-ready test scripts.
• Perform manual and automated testing of enhancements, strategic initiatives, and reported defects.
• Automate, organize, and maintain automated and manual test scripts.
• Able to understand In-house developed Automation frameworks, setting up the code base and test script execution.
• Proactively escalate high priority issues and follow through with resolution.
• Perform effective Root Cause Analysis and work with team on any corrective actions.
• Identify, record and track progress of defects and enhancements with clarity and accuracy.
• As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject.
• 5+ years of proven experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• 3 - 5 years Proven experience with backend testing/API testing using Postman.
• 3 - 5 years hands-on automation experience with Selenium WebDriver and Page Object Model Structure.
• 3+ years of experience on writing automation tests in Java Script.
