QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual testing to thoroughly understand business scenarios before automating them.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for end-to-end testing.
• Perform API testing, ensuring 75% of testing efforts are focused on API validation.
• Collaborate closely with developers and other QA team members to ensure alignment and understanding of testing requirements.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings and contribute to two-week sprint cycles within an Agile framework.
• Demonstrate leadership and drive, working independently and proactively to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in QA testing, with a focus on automation.
• Ability to perform manual testing to understand business scenarios thoroughly.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and participating in sprint cycles.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript for writing and maintaining automation scripts.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
