QA Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Interpret functional requirements and designs to plan, develop, write, execute, and automate functional and data validation test plans.
• Execute and evaluate manual and automated test cases and report test results.
• Optimize SQL scripts using query execution plans.
• Build re-usable automation tests/test scripts using (UFT/QTP/Selenium/TOSCA).
• Ensure that all system deliverables meet quality objectives in functionality, performance, stability, security accessibility, and data quality.
• Provide feedback and influence into the product design process to help the team build testable, performant, and reliable systems and data models.
• Provide work breakdown and estimates for tasks on agreed scope and development milestones to meet overall project timelines.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years’ experience in data quality assurance testing.
• 2+ years’ experience in building re-usable automation test scripts using (UFT/QTP/Selenium/TOSCA).
• Automated testing and data validation experience for high volume and large data sets.
• Experience in leading a QA process from manual to automation testing.
• Experience with the Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly detailed oriented.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong willingness & comfort taking on and challenging development approaches.
• Any related Certification on Automation Testing is desired.
• Bachelor's Degree in Software Design, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline preferred.
• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to effectively work with both technical and non-technical resources.
• Must have strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Expert at creating test plans, test cases, test data, and test estimation.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge in Agile, & Scrum methodology.
• Strong SQL experience.
• Knowledge in one of these Automation tools UFT/QTP/Selenium/TOSCA.
• Experience in Web Service and SOA service testing automation tools such as SoapUI and Postman.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; enjoys working in a team environment
• Experience in VBScripts and Descriptive Language.
• Knowledge in Oracle databases and SQL queries.
• Excited to try and implement new technologies and experiment with new approaches.
