Job Description :

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in frequent customer interactions for the purposes of regular business update meetings, reporting, issue resolution, and cooperative continuous improvement opportunities that improve our products and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Develop, report, and take action to improve metrics related to quality.
  • Own the process for recurring QMS systems such as the PCCB (Process Change Control Board), customer complaint process, CAR management, or others.
  • Drives quality improvements by working with Operations to implement effective quality planning tools, measurement systems, sampling plans, statistical techniques, or other process controls.
  • Establish and implement process control plans to include capability studies, gage repeatability and reproducibility (Gage R&R) studies.
  • Provide quality related documents to the manufacturing floor, including OPL, work visual aids and work instructions.
  • Perform capability studies on new jobs and in other situations where they are needed.
  • Participates in and performs Layered Process Audits (LPA) per plan.

Qualifications:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Below are the minimum requirements of the education, experience, knowledge, and skills required to competently perform in this position. 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 4-year College or University Degree in Business, Quality, Engineering or related field preferred but not required.
  • 2 - 3 years’ experience in a Quality related role.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
