Why would my OPT get denied is hard to believe Does anyone know the reasons?

I filed for OPT quite in time and was confident that I would get through but recently I got a letter of denial for USCIS but without any reason.

Hi,

Today I got an email from USCIS stating that my OPT has been denied, they send me a letter stating the reason for the denial. The letter hasn’t got yet.
My question here is that what could be the reason for denial and what are the steps I can take to extend my stay in the US.

my opt was denied due to school mistake (my fate)..they wrote the Wrong CIP on my I-20.
they gave a CIP code 11.1099 which was not eligible for a 17-month extension. Actually I did my graduation in Software Engg whose CIP code was 14.0903(eligible for 17-month extension ).

I recommend making sure while u applying coz USCIS ppl will do in clear step by step process validation.

1. Check your CIP code on I-20 (3rd page)with STEM eligible codes on http://ice.gov/sevis

2.make sure your E-verify number is 6 digit, check two times with ur employer.

3.Before your current expiration. (if u got decision approval/denial before u r current expiration then u will have a chance to do sthg, otherwise, even god can't help us in this freaking USCIS systems which exclusively built to fuck us.)

school/employer they don't know what the fuck they are doing if they did sthg wrong like typo mistake our time going to spoil.

if u missed anything funny like transcripts or signing on I20/check or failed to send the new xerox copy of I-20 which is not more than 30 days old ...u will be in extreme danger. No doubt abt it. Trust me!!!

There could be a lot of reasons:
(1) You utilized more than 11 months and 29 days of full-time CPT. that would make you ineligible for OPT.
(2) You did not apply within the stipulated timeframe.
(3) Your OPT employment is not related to your major.
