Universities That Offer Scholarships to the International Students in USA

American University – Their AU Emerging Global Leader Scholarship Program awards merit based scholarships to international students with on continued satisfactory academic performance, leadership development, and global engagement. They also offers partial merit scholarships to international students based on academically excellence and community service. For the 2016-2017, scholarships ranged from U.S. $6,000 to U.S. $25,000 per academic year. The scholarships are renewable for a total of four years of undergraduate study.  No need-based financial aid is available to international students (non-U.S.).

University of Arkansas – They offer different types of funding opportunities for international students of varying backgrounds and nationalities.

Amherst College – Amherst College currently runs a need-based financial aid program that provides assistance to financially needy international students.  The funding can be called an “aid package” because it may include both self-help (employment) and gift aid (scholarships and grants).
